Meeting Location and Dates

At our February 21st meeting, we will watch an Ikenobo Ikebana demonstration video “Still Changing After All These Years” by Stephanie English. Stephanie will join our Zoom meeting for a Question and Answer session.

Stephanie has been studying ikebana since 1994. In the fall of 2016, she received her 18th certificate or degree, Senior Professor First Grade. She has travelled to Japan on multiple occasions for special Ikenobo study tours and attends similar special workshops all around the U.S. Stephanie regularly participates in Ikebana exhibits in Naples, Florida as well as several Art in Bloom exhibitions in the Asheville, North Carolina area. As president of the Ikebana Ikenobo Naples Chapter since 2009, Stephanie actively teaches during the winter. In the summer she organizes programs and workshops for the Blue Ridge Ikenobo Chapter in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Stephanie is an international member and past president of the Naples #160 Chapter and  Associate member of Asheville #74 and all Florida chapters. Currently she is the Communications Chair for the Naples #160 Chapter. She also serves as Communications Administrator for the NCAR Ikebana International, and is the Florida Regional Advocate for all six of the Florida Chapters. She has given demonstrations for various organizations, clubs and garden clubs in the Chicago area, Asheville North Carolina, as well as in Southwest Florida.
