"Friendship Through Flowers"
Join us for our May Ikenobo workshop! Izumi Minamitani, President of Ikenobo Ikebana Society Los Angeles Chapter, will lead us to make a Shoka style arrangement. Izumi was born in Japan and began learning Ikenobo Ikebana at the age of 15. She moved to the United States in 1991 and has been here ever since. She has a lot of fun arranging flowers and always tells her students, "Let's enjoy ikebana." She likes to say, Ikenobo Ikebana has a long history and is created according to rules, but once you learn it, it is easy to do. Let's enjoy ikebana together! Click here for details.
